MOTO at Domison
MOTO for Montreal–Toronto. (Version française en bas)
The temporary installation presents the works of cutting edge designers from both cities. Envisioned by My & Thien, this temporary exhibition aims to bring the two distant creative platforms closer.
A long history of rivalry between the country’s two largest cities has often polarised many industries. Yet, everyday there are massive exchanges between both of them making one wonder how come the design scene in each city can be so isolated and secluded from each other.
To break this isolation, My & Thien with the help of Anne Thomas and Pierre Laramee as invited curators, are showing at Domison an exhibition celebrating the design talents of Montreal and Toronto. It’s about creating a dialogue between these two design hubs. In short, let’s introduce Montreal to Toronto and Toronto to Montreal.
For the time of the Montreal design week, this offsite installation, will be the ground to discover, see and enjoy great design studios from our two cultural capitals.
